Could you introduce yourself in a few lines so that our community can get to know you better?

My name is Sandrine, I'm a stylish mom in my late 40s, full of life and love fashion and travel. I'd like you to discover my world and my passions, always with my trademark smile. I won't cheat and I'll take you with me.

Date of creation of your activity on the social networks as a lifestyle, fashion and travel influencer with Sandrine's Style?

My very first post was in November 2011, but it's only been 3 years since I really got involved in networking.

What triggered you and why did you embark on your social networking adventure with your own account? instagram Sandrine's style?

My passion for fashion and travel led me to share my experiences and looks. I was already being asked on the street where I'd bought such and such an item, and at the time my travel photos on Facebook were very popular, so I decided to share my outfits and even my daily emotions with a wider audience. I love life and when I receive a message in private or on the post telling me that I've brightened their day, I've succeeded in my wager.

How much time do you spend on your articles or videos? Production, editing...? Do you have any organizational tips for other lifestyle, fashion and travel influencers?

I usually spend about ten minutes creating a post. From taking the photos, choosing the ones I'm going to use, retouching them a little to make them brighter, then writing a text to go with them. Then I put it all together and that's it. When it's for a partnership, it can take a little longer, especially if it's a story with specific parameters and texts to highlight. I usually do it in one take, but with 4 boys at home, and especially since the confinement, I sometimes get "disturbed" in the middle of a take, so I start over several times.

What a community and audience are you targeting Sandrine's style?

I don't have a specific target, everyone is welcome on my account. There are of course more young girls and women looking for outfit or travel ideas, or even just out of curiosity. There are also quite a few men, as well as older people. I have a few regular followers with whom I communicate on a regular basis, who aren't necessarily in the usual under-50 age bracket...

Where do you find most of your inspiration? And which social networks do you use most?

I find my inspiration in everyday life. I avoid spending all my time on the networks so as not to copy other influencers. I don't want to fall into plagiarism. I can be inspired by a phrase, an outfit or an object and use that to create my daily post. On the other hand, I'm an avid Instagram user. I rarely go on Facebook or Snapchat and don't use Twitter at all. I'm also starting to use Tiktok but that's where copying comes in, and I don't like being a follower...

What was your strategy for developing your Instagram community?

I haven't really had a strategy, other than to stick to one post a day. I only do stories occasionally, especially on vacation. And I started generating interest when I went to Bali 3 summers ago.

How do you manage your time, between your family, your work and your social networks? Do you have a job or other activity besides your work as a lifestyle, fashion and travel influencer?

Time management is my forte! As the mother of 4 children, who are now 19, 18, 15 and 10. For a long time, I had to manage my time so as not to be overwhelmed when they were young. So I know how to do that. And yet I'm very active! I work mainly in the medical field, selling endoscopic equipment, but not exclusively. I speak 5 languages, so I do a lot of translations, books, websites... I work in clothing boutiques when I'm needed, because I love fashion. I'm also a model and hostess. I've worked at the Castellet racetrack, for brands like Jaguar and Land Rover, done commercials, TV and film extras, fashion shows... I'm very dynamic and despite all the hats I wear, I still find time to cook good food and look after my family. In short, I'm on all fronts and I love it.

Do you produce your own visuals and photos? And if so, what equipment do you use?

Yes, I make a point of using only my own photos. Most of the time, I just use my iphone to take them.

When they're willing, I ask my sons to take pictures of me, otherwise tripods and self-timers are my best friends.

What are your 3 tips for someone just starting out on Instagram?

Above all, be yourself, don't try to copy. Take things to heart, don't do it for profit, do it for passion. And above all, don't give up.

What would you like to undertake or develop next in your life as a lifestyle, fashion and travel influencer?

The way things are today suits me perfectly. Of course, when my community grows, it gives me great pleasure. But I'm not necessarily looking to reach a million followers. Sometimes, it's better to stay small but have loyal and happy followers, rather than grow, get lost and become the target of criticism. Inevitably, the more followers you have, the more you attract covetousness and bad people!

What do you think makes a successful collaboration proposal?

When the brand are good! If I get a message saying thank you, I've succeeded. And of course, if they ask me to collaborate again, that means everything.

Thank you / Merci / Danke
