Lara Oulès fashion influencer

Could you introduce yourself in a few lines so that our community can get to know you better? How would you define your style/universe as a fashion influencer?

My name is Lara, I am 27 years old. I live in the South West of France near Toulouse, I am a nurse alongside my second job as a professional blogger.

My Instagram account Laara_o is focused on fashion, I share my daily looks and my good tips. But it also includes lifestyle, especially in stories. I really like interacting with my community and they give me the same 🙂

When did you start your social networking activity as a fashion influencer?

I started seriously sharing my looks on Instagram in 2017.

What triggered you and why did you embark on your social networking adventure with instagram?

Basically, when I started sharing my looks on Instagram, I did it out of passion. I've always been passionate about fashion and I thought it was a shame to keep my looks to myself when I had the opportunity to share them with others. 🙂 I simply wanted to share my passion. And I never thought I would make a living from it one day! 🙂

How much time do you spend on your articles or videos? Production, editing...? Do you have any organizational tips for other influencers?

I spend a lot of time creating looks, imagining them, shooting them… I can spend an entire day taking pictures of myself, to offer regular content to my community.

Creating sponsored stories also takes me a certain amount of time and a lot of organization (dates and times of posts often imposed)

But in my job as an influencer, what takes up the most time is the administrative side: emails, invoices, accounting... I don't have an agent at the moment so I manage that part all by myself.

If I had one piece of advice to give for organization it would be: Buy a bullet journal! Ahah 🙂 This notebook literally changed my life, I really need it to organize myself properly.

What community and audience are you targeting?

I'm not targeting any audience in particular. I guess the audience that follows me loves fashion as much as I do!

Where do you find most of your inspiration? And which social networks do you use most?

I work mainly on Instagram; but I am also present on Snapchat (Username: lal0u)

I find my inspiration everywhere: Instagram news feed, magazines, pinterest, my influencer friends…

How do you manage your time, between family, work and social networks?  Do you have a job or other activity besides your work as a fashion influencer?

I have chosen to continue my career as a nurse alongside my career as an influencer as long as I can manage both. I will choose to put it on hold when I can no longer manage it alongside social media. My family and friends are my priority, I always find time to devote to them, even if it means putting social media on hold to see them.

Do you produce your own visuals and photos? And if so, what equipment do you use?

I take most of my photos myself, in my mirror. I use my iPhone XS MAX.

What advice would you give to other influencers in the community?

Be yourself and stay humble, we are influencers thanks to the people who follow us 🙂

What would you like to undertake or develop in your life next? fashion influencer ?

I've already thought about starting a YouTube channel, but that would really take more time. So I'm thinking about it and taking my time. I'll wait a little longer.

And if I'm going to live from my passion, I might as well do it all the way, why not maybe one day create my own clothing brand or create capsule collections with brands... The future will tell us.. 🙂
