Could you introduce yourself in a few lines so that our community can get to know you better? How would you define your style/universe as a lifestyle and travel influencer?

My name is Laura, I'm 27. Originally from Paris, I've been living in Toulouse for over 12 years. On my blog and my instagramI share around the following themes: fashion, travel, lifestyle and beauty. For nearly 3 years now, I've been lucky enough to have made my passion my profession, so I'm a full-time content creator/influencer.

My world reflects my personality: simple, spontaneous and cheerful. When it comes to fashion, I like to have fun mixing styles according to my desires. I can go from bohemian chic to streetwear.

Date of creation of your activity on the social networks as a lifestyle and travel influencer?

I opened my blog lapetitefrenchie.com on February 19, 2013. As for my instagram account @lapetitefrenchie, that came 1 year later in 2014.

What triggered you and why did you embark on your social networking adventure with instagram?

Back in 2011/2012, I started out sharing my fashion and beauty purchases on Facebook with lots of other chicks I didn't know. The idea of starting a blog came up several times. I was already following a few myself at the time. What's more, I've always loved writing, sharing and giving advice to my girlfriends. So I took the plunge. I'd already managed to build up a nice community on Facebook, which kindly followed me when I decided to open my own Instagram to complement the one I'd already started. content of my blog.

How much time do you spend on your articles or videos? Production, editing...? Do you have any organizational tips for other lifestyle and travel influencers?

24/7! On a more serious note, given that this is my full-time professional activity, it's hard to say. I don't count my hours, it's my daily routine. What's more, it's random: I can spend as little as 2 hours on a look article as I can more than 15 hours on a travel article. But it's all part and parcel: between the photo shoot, photo processing, retouching, writing the article, optimizing the referencingetc. There's a lot of real work behind an article or even a video.

As far as organizational tips are concerned, it all depends on the influencer, his content, the number of platforms he's present on, the time he can devote to this activity, and so on. For me, the best way to manage all the tasks I have to do is simply to keep a schedule and write EVERYTHING down in a notebook so I don't forget anything.

What a community and audience are you targeting?

My community is 75% female and mostly between the ages of 18 and 35. However, I'm followed by people of all ages, and that's great! On the other hand, I have to admit that I'm careful not to have a very young audience - I'm not interested in that. I've always oriented my content in that direction.

Where do you find most of your inspiration? And which social networks do you use most?

Instagram is THE social network I prefer. Over the years, it's become more and more developed, especially with stories and IGTV, which allow you to share even more different content. Otherwise, the platform where I feel "at home" is, of course, my blog!

How do you manage your time, between your family, your work and your social networks? Do you have a job or other activity besides your work as a lifestyle and travel influencer?

As previously mentioned, my work as an influencer is my full-time activity. I'm not going to lie and say that I manage everything perfectly, it's FALSE! Working on your own, being your own boss, is cool, but it also requires a lot of investment and motivation. It's impossible for me to work "office hours". So I also work very early in the morning, very late at night and even at weekends. But this flexibility also has its advantages. In spite of this very intrusive job, I'm able to take full advantage of my loved ones, much more so than with my previous activity.

Do you produce your own visuals and photos? And if so, what equipment do you use?

As for the photos in which I appear, they're mainly taken by my mother or my boyfriend. I also sometimes do shoots with fellow influencers. We help each other out by taking photos of each other, which is great. Apart from that, everything is managed by myself. I use the Panasonic Lumix GX80 camera, one of the best in its category and excellent value for money.

What advice would you give to other lifestyle and travel influencers in the community?

I'm going to be a bit classic in my answer, but the most important thing is to remain yourself, to share with passion. That's what's been driving me for nearly 7 years and why I'm still here today. And last but not least, don't forget to be honest and sincere with your community - it will repay you, believe me!

What would you like to undertake or develop next in your life as a lifestyle and travel influencer?

To think big, my dream would be to create my own own brand or to create a capsule collection in collaboration with a brand. On a smaller scale, I'd like to continue improving the content I offer on my blog and Instagram: getting out of my comfort zone, being even more creative, daring more and bringing to fruition the tons of ideas that emerge in my head but are held back by a fair lack of self-confidence. And finally, I'd like to continue developing my other parallel activities as Community Manager, Photographer/Videographer and Webmaster. I really like the versatility of my job, which allows me to work in so many different fields, it's really enriching!
