We are Julie & Nico! We've been traveling the world together for 6 years, photographing and exploring new landscapes, cultures and horizons.
Date of creation of your activity on the social networks as a travel influencer?

What triggered you off and why did you embark on the social networking adventure in the first place? instagram ?
At the time, Instagram had just come out, so not everyone had it, but it was cool to have a social network focused on photos rather than posts written by people we didn't really care about... We've always traveled, so we posted our travel photos every time. Little by little, a community was created and we received a lot of questions, requests for advice and tips from our travelers. At the same time, we were a little frustrated by the fact that we were only publishing our photos on Instagram, so they were a little ephemeral. That's when we decided to create Prépare ta Valise, our travel blog that would be used to give all our advice, tips and recommendations about the trips and activities we do.
How much time do you spend on your articles or videos? Production, editing...? Do you have any organizational tips for others? influencers ?
For an article, it really depends on the context, the destination etc... But we'll say between 7h and 17h maximum. Then we spend a lot of time retouching all our photos, so we can easily add between 4h and 20h.
What a community and audience are you targeting?
Anyone who loves to travel!
Where do you find most of your inspiration? And which social networks do you use most?
We mainly use Instagram. Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and Linkedin are mainly used to relay our content.
How do you manage your time, between your family, your work and your social networks? Do you have a job or other activity besides your work as a travel influencer?
Nico has a communications agency and soon another in real estate, which takes up a lot of his time with all his projects... As for me, I'm an accountant! It's not always easy to manage our time between our jobs, friends and families, but we manage pretty well! It's a good thing there are two of us.
Do you produce your own visuals and photos? And if so, what equipment do you use?
Yes, it's all done by us! We have a Nikon D500, the Gopro Hero 8 Black and a Dji Mavic Pro 2.
What advice would you give to other influencers in the community?
Above all, be passionate about what you do.
What would you like to undertake or develop next in your life as a travel influencer?
We're in the process of setting up a number of projects that will be of interest to many people over the coming months, so stay tuned...
