We are two lovers of the world, who have left everything behind to discover the wonders that surround us.
Through our account instagramWe'd like to share our daily lives, our difficulties, our mop-ups in our van... To help, inspire, give advice and share tips for those embarking on a journey. And also to make people dream who can't go away, to take them with us, in our cocoon.
Above all, we want to maintain our fun and close-knit nature, while remaining close to our community.
Date of creation of your activity on the social networks as a travel influencer?
October 2018 when we left for New Zealand.
What triggered you and why did you embark on your social networking adventure with instagram?
What triggered our desire to get started on Instagram was our departure on a one-year Working Holiday Visa to New Zealand, Laïs was trying her hand at photography more and more and we didn't want to keep these memories just for ourselves, Instagram was a great way to share our adventure.
How much time do you spend on your articles or videos? Production, editing...? Do you have any organizational tips for others? influencers trip?
Every time we come back from a trip, we write an article, usually spending a whole day writing the article and sorting the photos.
The main advice we could give is to do everything right away while it's still hot in your head, leaving nothing for the next day if possible. And you quickly become overwhelmed with all the photos and things to share.
What a community and audience are you targeting?
Our target audience is people who, like us, love travel and beautiful landscapes. People who want to escape through photos.
Where do you find most of your inspiration? And which social networks do you use most?
Our inspiration comes mainly from our daily lives, we share what we see and what we've loved but all the other Instagram accounts specialized in travel also inspire us a lot (for the next destinations for example).
We use Instagram for our community, we love the visual side of this network, and we want to get messages across through our photos. Facebookfor a more intimate side, where we share our adventure with family and friends, and Polarsteps with a more in-depth, in-depth account for the curious.
How do you manage your time, between your family, your work and your social networks? Do you have a job or other activity besides your work as a travel influencer?
We're currently on a Working Holiday Visa, so we work for a few weeks/months and then go on the road the rest of the time. When we're working, we don't have much time to relax. content to share so we share photos of our previous adventures and also share our daily lives via stories.
Do you produce your own visuals and photos? And if so, what equipment do you use?
Yes, we take all the photos and videos ourselves. We use a Nikon D3300 SLR camera and a Dji Spark drone.
What advice would you give to other influencers in the community?
You have to take the plunge, not be afraid to share what's important to you.
One important thing to remember, especially when it comes to sponsored publications, is not to accept "just anything" and to maintain consistency with your universe so as not to distort the soul of your account.
What would you like to undertake or develop next in your life as a travel influencer?
We'd like to expand our community and share our adventure with as many people as possible. After this trip around the world, why not focus more on the "lifestyle" aspect of where we'll be settling.
