My name is Audrey Martinez and I'm a influencer lifestyle and modeling. I promote the best restaurants and hotels, fashion brands / beauty of the world - showing life-changing experiences, that's my mission.

When did you start your social networking activity as a lifestyle influencer and model? 

August 2018

What triggered you and why did you embark on your social networking adventure with instagram?

I've started my page Instagram at the age of 24. I just wanted to share random photos of my life. I didn't know it would turn into a full-time job, but that's exactly what happened. Interestingly, my influencer career only took off after a bit of bad luck. Last year, my account was hacked and all my photos and videos were deleted. Most of them were very sentimental to me and I couldn't get them back.

I finally managed to get my account back, and when I did, I chose to turn a bad situation into a positive one by becoming more creative with the content I was publishing and fine-tuning my page. It was the best thing I could have done, as brands started offering me collaboration deals and invitations to press trips around the world. That's when I knew it was time to continue being a full-time influencer. I now feel blessed to be able to use my social platform to represent brands.

How much time do you spend on your articles or videos? Production, editing...? Do you have any organizational tips for other lifestyle influencers and models? 

I spend an average of 2 hours retouching a photo because I'm such a perfectionist. It took me a good 5 hours to edit my igtv video and the result took less than 5 minutes (laughs). To others influencers I'd tell them to capitalize on their uniqueness; that's what will make an impact. Choose an aesthetic color code and stick to it. In addition, they should let go of any insecurities they may have. Share all the highs, lows, good times and bad times of their lives. By showing the deepest and darkest sides without hesitation, they'll create a safe space for people to connect, bond with them and build the impactful relationships needed to succeed in this career.

What community and audience are you targeting? 

A audience young people who love to travel, fashion and beauty in the luxury sector.

Where do you find most of your inspiration? And which social networks do you use most?

I love fashion from the 60s and today, I mix it all together and it gives a glamorous/chic result with a hint of exuberance. I mainly use Instagram.

What was your strategy for developing your Instagram community? 

Staying myself.

How do you manage your time, between your family, your work and your social networks? Do you have a job or other activity besides your work as a lifestyle influencer and model? 

I work a lot, but every month I go to Switzerland to recharge my batteries with my family for a weekend or more when I can. I have a small circle, and they're understanding because I've always been a workaholic.

Do you produce your own visuals and photos? And if so, what equipment do you use? 

Sometimes yes, but most of the time I work with my photographer, who shoots me with a Canon EOS 4000D.

What are your 3 tips for someone just starting out on Instagram? 

Defining your audience is priority number one. Have an identity color. And an Instagram name that's not too hard to remember. Preferably a short one.

What would you like to undertake or develop next in your life as a lifestyle influencer and model? 

It's a secret!

What do you think makes a successful collaboration proposal?

 A partnership in which brand is happy to thank me and is planning another collaboration. It's heartwarming.
