Could you introduce yourself in a few lines so that our readers can get to know you?

Hello, my name is Sarah, I'm 25 and I've been living in Toulouse for 4 years. I'm British by birth but you can't hear my accent as I arrived in France at the age of 8. I work as an IT engineer from Monday to Friday and as a blogger in my spare time.

What made you decide to open your blog "Sarah's Corner"?

Having studied computer science, I found myself in a rather masculine circle of friends, whereas I'm very much into all things feminine: make-up, fashion, well-being, etc. I didn't have any friends with whom I could discuss all these subjects, so I turned to the internet to talk, share and discover. I didn't have any friends with whom I could discuss all these subjects, so I turned to the internet to talk, share and discover. I made friends in Toulouse and other cities. I felt like I belonged to a community, and that's what prompted me to open my own page. It's evolved a lot since those early days, but I think it still represents me just as well.

What are your favorite social networks? Where do you find your inspiration?

My current favorite social network is Pinterest. I moved in with my boyfriend at the beginning of the year, so we have a lot of fun making decorating boards together. I also have lots of gourmet recipe and fashion boards. As soon as I find a piece I like, I gather dozens of photos of various outfits. It also allows me to discover other fashion bloggers.

How do you manage your time? (Blog, social networks...)

After 4 years of blogging, I've finally managed to develop a rhythm to divide my time between work, sport, friends and blogging - a difficult thing. I regularly post before and after office hours. I often prepare my posts while commuting on the metro. My blog posts are often written in the evening when I'm tucked up in bed, but the hardest part is the photos, which are often taken at weekends when there's good natural light.
I also use the Buffer tool for automatic publications on Facebook and Twitter. I recently got a new smartphone with a "drinkable" camera, so I hope to be able to post more often on Instagram - a network I love as a reader but haven't yet tamed as a blogger.

Is there a collaboration that has had a greater impact on you than another, or that you really liked?

I was lucky enough to work with the brand Juvamine, who introduced me to a natural sleep-inducing product. I used my boyfriend as a guinea pig, as I don't have any sleep problems, and we were really pleased with the product. Without this collaboration, we'd never have known that this kind of product existed.

What would you like to do in the future?

The next big step in my life would be to buy an apartment. I can't wait to be a homeowner and do some work on an apartment to make it my own. I can't wait to spend my Saturdays at Ikea and Alinéa finding the perfect little decorations.

What's your biggest dream?

My biggest dream is to spend a year in another country, just to discover. That's what my parents did when they bought a house in France in 2000, and their only regret is that they didn't do it sooner. I'm drawn to cold countries like Finland or Sweden, I don't know why exactly.

When was your blog created?

Around July 2012.

Who takes your photos?

Myself.

Do you have any passions?

My passion is life and family, but my hobbies are mainly: sport (fitness/running), fashion and blogging of course.
Can you recommend a book that you particularly like? The whole Harry Potter collection. I feel like I grew up with it (the first book came out the year I started middle school).

A huge thank you to Sarah for opening up to us this week. Don't hesitate to have a look at her social networks and its blog. The Value Your Network team wishes you all the best.
