What triggered you off and why did you embark on the social networking adventure in the first place? instagram ?
I already liked to share lots of things on my blog, and I love photography. So it was natural for me to sign up for Instagram, almost as soon as the application was created. I ai found a caring and dynamic community, and discovered a whole host of inspiring accounts. I was quickly hooked!
How much time do you spend on your articles or videos? Production, editing...? Do you have any organizational tips for other travel and family influencers?
It takes a lot of time, that's for sure! But it's also my job, so I take the time I need to make sure my articles and posts reflect what I want to share. I have an extensive to-do list and a bullet journal, which help me get organized.
What a community and audience are you targeting?
My community is similar to mine, I think, it's mostly made up of women in their thirties and forties. Some of them have been following me for over 10 years; we grew up together. I also have a small younger following, the same age as my (grand)children, who like to follow our adventures.
Where do you find most of your inspiration? And which social networks do you use most?
Inspiration is everywhere, every day. I especially love Instagram and Pinterest for that, but also and always blogs, rich in information and ideas that expire much more slowly than on the networks.
What was your strategy for developing your travel and family Instagram community?
Post regularly, take quality photos and be sincere. Sincerity is the most important thing.
How do you manage your time, between your family, your work and your social networks? Do you have a job or other activity besides your work as a travel and family influencer?
I am the creator of content on the Internet, copywriter, photographer and sometimes videographer. Social networks are an integral part of my work... and my personal life!
Do you produce your own visuals and photos? And if so, what equipment do you use?
Yes, always! I mainly use my iPhone and my Olympus OMD-EM10 hybrid, which never leave my bag, and more rarely my Canon 50D SLR and my Mavic Pro drone.
What are your 3 tips for someone just starting out on Instagram?
The same ones I apply to myself: find your style, post quality content regularly and stay true to yourself.
What would you like to undertake or develop next in your life as a travel and family influencer?
I'd love to start traveling again when the health situation permits!
What do you think makes a successful collaboration proposal?
For me, a collaboration is successful when it's in line with my tastes and lifestyle, when it's well-defined while keeping an open dialogue with the advertiser, and when it rewards my work.
